Brees completed 26 of 36 passes for 342 yards and three touchdowns in the Saints' 31-17 victory over the Detroit Lions.

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Rodgers converted 28 of 46 pass attempts for 369 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in the Packers' 38-35 win over the New York Giants.

Alex Smith, San Francisco 49ers

Smith completed 73.9 percent of his passes for 274 yards and two scores in the 49ers' 26-0 victory over the St. Louis Rams.

FEDEX GROUND -- RUNNING BACK NOMINEES

Chris Johnson, Tennessee Titans

Johnson ran 23 times for 153 yards and two touchdowns in the Titans' 23-17 victory over the Buffalo Bills.

Marshawn Lynch, Seattle Seahawks

Lynch carried 22 times for 148 yards and two scores in the Seahawks' 31-14 Thursday night win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens

Rice tallied 204 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries in the Ravens' 24-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns. His yardage total was the highest on the weekend, and his 7.0 yards-per-carry average was the highest of any back with more than 10 carries.
