GMC Never Say Never Moment: Teddy Bridgewater

It's been an up and down season for Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Despite facing an early 10-0 deficit in his team's game against the Washington Redskins, Teddy Two Gloves kept his pose and propelled the Vikes to a 29-26 win to spoil Robert Griffin III's return, earning Week 9's GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week.

NEVER SAY NEVER MOMENT NOMINEES

James Laurinaitis, St. Louis Rams

Rams beat 49ers with last-minute goal-line stand: The St. Louis Rams defense thwarted three attempts by the San Francisco 49ers to get the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds, holding on for a 13-10 win on the road. The Rams prevented the 49ers from scoring from inside the 2-yard line three times, with the third stop resulting in the game-clinching fumble recovery by linebacker James Laurinaitis on an attempted quarterback sneak by Colin Kaepernick. Laurinaitis collected one of eight sacks that the Rams defense had on Kaepernick.

Mark Sanchez, Philadelphia Eagles

Sanchez steps in for Eagles: Philadelphia Eagles starting quarterback Nick Foles left the game in the first quarter due to an injury, forcing backup quarterback Mark Sanchez into the game. Sanchez responded by throwing for two touchdowns to lead the Eagles to a pivotal 31-21 win on the road against the Houston Texans. That win, coupled with a Dallas Cowboys loss, thrust the Eagles into first place in the NFC East.

Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota Vikings

Vikings overcome deficits to beat Redskins: Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater led the Vikings to a 29-26 win. Minnesota trailed 10-0 early in the second quarter and later in the game, erased a five-point deficit with the final go-ahead touchdown by running back Matt Asiata, who finished the game with three touchdown runs. On that final scoring drive, Bridgewater made four first-down throws to keep the Vikings marching toward the winning score.
