GMC Never Say Never Moment: Colt McCoy

In his first start since 2011, quarterback Colt McCoy led his Washington Redskins to a road victory over the Dallas Cowboys in Arlington, Texas, winning Week 8's GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week. By conducting a game-winning drive in overtime against a 6-1 team, McCoy gave Washington a much-needed victory and giving its season a spark before Robert Griffin III's return.

NEVER SAY NEVER MOMENT NOMINEES

Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions

Lions rally from 21 down in London: The Detroit Lions overcame a 21-0 halftime deficit to collect a 22-21 win over the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium in London. In what was the earliest game-time start in NFL history, the Lions pulled off a comeback for the second consecutive week after quarterback Matthew Stafford threw two touchdown passes and kicker Matt Prater connected on three field goals, including the game-winner from 48 yards out.

Carson Palmer, Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals use late TD, defensive stand to top Eagles: Quarterback Carson Palmer heaved a 75-yard touchdown to rookie receiver John Brown with 1:21 remaining in the game to give the Arizona Cardinals a 24-20 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Philadelphia came close to getting a game-winning score, but the Eagles' final attempt was thwarted when quarterback Nick Foles' last-second pass was caught out of bounds.

Colt McCoy, Washington Redskins

McCoy leads dramatic overtime win in Dallas: Washington Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy directed a game-winning drive in overtime for a 20-17 win over the Dallas Cowboys. On the first offensive drive of overtime, McCoy -- who started the season as the Redskins' third-string quarterback -- connected with tight end Jordan Reed on the sideline for a 16-yard gain that placed Washington within field goal range. Three plays later, Kai Forbath booted the winning field goal. The Redskins then prevented the Cowboys offense led by Tony Romo -- who had been hurt earlier in the game only to return late in the fourth quarter -- from scoring to preserve the thrilling victory.
