NEVER SAY NEVER MOMENT NOMINEES

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Rodgers rallies Packers past Dolphins with late TD: Aaron Rodgers' 4-yard touchdown pass to tight end Andrew Quarless with three seconds remaining gave the Green Bay Packers a 27-24 win over the Miami Dolphins. Rodgers overcame a fumble and a fourth-and-10 situation on the winning drive, which also included a fake intentional spike for a 12-yard gain to rookie receiver Davante Adams that set up the winning score. Green Bay twice gave up its lead on the Dolphins, and trailed 24-17 before Rodgers directed a 68-yard drive that resulted in a field goal. The Packers forced a punt and started at their own 40-yard line with 2:04 remaining en route to their third consecutive win.

Terrance Williams, Dallas Cowboys

Williams' sideline catch sparks Cowboys surge in Seattle: Receiver Terrance Williams' tiptoe catch on a third-and-20 play set up running back DeMarco Murray's go-ahead touchdown run in a 30-23 Dallas Cowboys win over the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. The Cowboys, who are 5-1 for the first time since 2007, overcame a pair of special teams turnovers to become the first team outside of the NFC West to win in Seattle since 2011. The Seahawks' last-minute attempt to tie the game was thwarted by an interception by linebacker Rolando McClain. Murray became just the second running back in NFL history to start a season with six consecutive 100-yard rushing games, doing so against the Seahawks, which had not allowed a running back more than 38 yards in a game this season.

Branden Oliver, San Diego Chargers

Undrafted rookie Oliver caps late Chargers' rally with TD: Undrafted rookie running back Branden Oliver capped a winning drive engineered by quarterback Philip Rivers with a 1-yard touchdown run to give the San Diego Chargers a 31-28 win over the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders held a 28-21 lead early in the fourth quarter. However, a Nick Novak field goal trimmed the lead to 28-24 and the Chargers' next drive resulted in Oliver's winning score. Of Oliver's 101 yards rushing, 29 came on the Chargers' 39-yard drive for victory.
