Packers Rodgers tops Tebow for Moment of the Week honors

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers' command of a last-minute, game-winning scoring drive is the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week for games played on Dec. 1-5, the NFL announced Friday. The GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Week is the best moment or play of the week that represents determination and perseverance.

After the regular season, fans will have a chance to determine the GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Year, from among the 17 weekly winners. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/gmc throughout the month of January.

NEVER SAY NEVER MOMENT NOMINEES

Tim Tebow, Denver Broncos

Tebow, Broncos do it again: Tebow and his team overcame another slow start with a familiar second-half surge past the Minnesota Vikings for a 35-32 road victory, the team's fifth consecutive win and sixth in seven games. The Vikings built a 15-7 halftime lead, but the Broncos pulled out the win after a back-and-forth second half. Tebow finished with a season-best 202 yards passing and threw for two third-quarter touchdowns.

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Packers face adversity, but stay perfect: Plagued by dropped passes by his receivers all afternoon, and harassed by the New York Giants' defense for three sacks, Rodgers came through when it mattered most to preserve the Packers' perfect record through 12 games. With less than a minute to play and the game tied at 35-35, the Packers answered the Giants' challenge with a quick, five-play drive led by Rodgers that set up kicker Mason Crosby's 31-yard game-winning field goal.

LaRod Stephens-Howling, Arizona Cardinals

Looking at defeat, Cards come back for OT win: The Arizona Cardinals overcame a 10-point deficit to tie the game in the fourth quarter against a Dallas Cowboys team that had been riding a four-game winning streak. But it was the events at the end of regulation that helped the Cardinals pull out victory. The Cowboys appeared to be in position to kick the winning field goal, but Dallas coach Jason Garrett called a timeout before kicker Dan Bailey's 49-yard field goal sailed through the uprights. Bailey's second try fell short, forcing overtime, where the Cardinals won when a huge effort on a short pass play to Stephens-Howling resulted in the winning score in sudden death.
