NFL & UNITED WAY 40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
2013 marks the 40th anniversary of the partnership between the National Football League and United Way — the longest running partnership in history between a major sports league and a nonprofit organization. Over the past four decades, thousands of NFL players, coaches, owners and staff have teamed up with United Way to help build stronger, healthier communities.
TO ENGAGE FANS IN THE CELEBRATION, THE NFL AND UNITED WAY TEAMED UP WITH USA TODAY AD METER TO HOST A NATIONWIDE VOTE TO IDENTIFY THE FAN FAVORITE NFL & UNITED WAY PUBLIC SERVICE AD (PSA) OF ALL TIME. THOUSANDS JOINED THEM IN THE WALK DOWN MEMORY LANE FOR FOUR WEEKS OF VOTING ON ADS FROM THE 1970s, 1980s, 1990s AND 2000s.
