Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Camp Opens
Develop another running back
LeGarrette Blount is now the man for the Bucs and he gives them a very physical style. The team needs to sign or develop a third-down back to complement the growing passing attack under Josh Freeman. Cadillac Williams did a good job for the team last year and if he doesn't return, this camp will be used to get another player ready for the job. Right now Kregg Lumpkin and sixth-round pick Alan Bradford are the only backs on the roster.
Get another cornerback
Aqib Talib's status is up in the air. Ronde Barber is not getting any younger. Between those two corners, the Bucs need to have another corner emerge in camp. If none of the roster corners are making the grade early in camp, they may need to head to the free agent market.
Evaluate the pass rush
Tampa did draft two defensive ends this spring but both have injury history and will probably struggle to get to the quarterback. The team needs to get a veteran defensive end in camp and it could be a return of Stylez G. White. Let's see if Alex McGee, Kyle Moore or Michael Bennett can show something.

Top position battle

Barrett Ruud's departure via free agency leaves a vacant starting spot at middle linebacker in Tampa. Should rookie third-rounder Mason Foster push Tyrone McKenzie for a starting spot?

Will the Bucs break through and reach the playoffs this season?
