The QB situation
Charlie Whitehurst was handpicked last year by coach Pete Carroll but he struggled to find consistency. That led to Carroll going out and signing Tarvaris Jackson from Minnesota. The battle between Jackson and Whitehurst should be intense in camp and could bleed into the regular season as well. Stay tuned.
The DL question marks
Brandon Mebane and Kentwan Balmer are penciled in as the starters, as Raheem Brock walked away in free agency. There's not much depth, with only Jay Alford and rookie Pep Livington, so Seattle needs one or both to step up and prove they can handle some reps.
Time for Curry to step up
When the new regime got to Seattle last year, they quickly realized Aaron Curry wasn't playing like a No. 4 overall draft pick. Curry has to play better if the Seahawks are going to repeat as division champs. Last year was a slight improvement over his rookie season, but 5 1/2 sacks and seven passes defended in two years isn't anywhere near good enough.

Top position battle

Will Tarvaris Jackson be at an advantage over Charlie Whitehurst working under former Vikings offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell?

Is this a make-or-break season for Curry?
