Media Day Fueled by Gatorade

The NFL will offer a limited number of spectators a unique opportunity to attend Media Day Fueled by Gatorade on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ. Starting today fans are able to purchase tickets at

Super Bowl XLIX will be played February 1, 2015 at University of Phoenix Stadium.

During Media Day, fans will sit in the stands in the arena and watch thousands of media from around the world interview members of the participating Super Bowl teams on the floor.

Fans will receive a Media Day gift bag that will include a radio to tune into the day’s coverage on NFL Network and listen to some of the individual player interviews from the podium microphones’ audio. In addition, there will be player and cheerleader appearances. Fans also will have access to concession and merchandise stands throughout the day.

Tickets are available for purchase through and cost $28.50 each.

Doors will open at 9:30 am (local time) to all ticketholders. Media Day will begin at 10:30 am (local time). All seating for the event will be reserved.

Screen Procedures for Spectators

To provide a safer environment for the public and to expedite fan entry into the US Airways Center, the NFL limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into Media Day. Visit the NFL All Clear page for more details on bag policy.

All items carried by spectators will be carefully inspected and potentially not permitted into US Airways Center. Consistent with NFL games, the NFL strongly encourages fans not to bring any type of bag to Media Day, but if necessary, those outlined below are permissible:

  • • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" OR

  • • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar), AND

  • • Small clutch bags, 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap, can be taken into the arena with one of the clear plastic bag options.

  • • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after thorough inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.

Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: purses or bags larger than 4.5" x 6.5", coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags/draw string bags that are not clear or exceed 12" x 6" x 12", luggage of any kind, computer bags, binocular cases and camera bags, and large traditional seat cushions that have pockets, zippers, compartments or covers.

  • • Banner (any object that obstructs the view of another)

  • • Fireworks

  • • Beach Balls

  • • Frisbees

  • • Beverage

  • • Laser Lights and Pointers

  • • Camcorders

  • • Mace / Pepper Spray

  • • Containers of any type

  • • Noisemakers and Horns

  • • Aerosol Cans

  • • Poles, Sticks, Missile-like objects of any kind

  • • Coolers (of any size)

  • • Strollers

  • • Bottles

  • • Tripods

  • • Umbrellas

  • • Weapons, Knives and Explosives

  • • Whistles

Note: Prohibited items and items determined to not be appropriate for entry into the arena will be the responsibility of the ticketholder and cannot be accepted or checked by the NFL, US Airways Center or law enforcement. We urge spectators to secure these items in vehicles or their hotel rooms. The NFL, US Airways Center and law enforcement will not store prohibited or excluded items for spectators.

Cameras and Binoculars – Small cameras and binoculars will be allowed. No spectator cameras with lenses more than six inches (6") long will be permitted. Again, camcorders will be prohibited. Binocular cases and camera bags are not permitted.
