Vikings coach Leslie Frazier and his staff will lead the North squad later this month, and Redskins coach Mike Shanahan and his staff will lead the South.

Both Frazier and Shanahan are returning to Mobile, Ala., for the game, having served as coordinators under different staffs before -- Frazier with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2004 and Shanahan with the Denver Broncos in 1986.

Last year, Washington drafted a league-leading six players who participated in the 2011 Senior Bowl, including first-round pick Ryan Kerrigan. The Redskins hold the sixth overall pick in this year's draft after a 5-11 season.

"The Senior Bowl provides us a great opportunity to get to know some of the young players who will be selected in the 2012 NFL Draft," Shanahan said in a statement released by the Senior Bowl.

The Vikings went 3-13 this season and own the third overall pick in the upcoming draft. This is just the second time Minnesota has coached at the Senior Bowl, the last time coming in 1980.

"The Vikings coaching staff and I are very excited to be a part of a great tradition and have the opportunity to coach in the 2012 Senior Bowl," Frazier said. "It gives us the chance to work with some of the most talented football players in the country as they prepare to enter the NFL."

The Senior Bowl is set for Saturday, Jan. 28, and will be televised live on NFL Network.
