Pick Analysis: The Buckeyes plucked McLaurin from Indiana after he earned the state's Mr. Football for his play at Indianapolis' Cathedral High School. He did not make any catches as a redshirt freshman in 2015. Coaches started him four times in 13 games in 2016, and he grabbed 11 passes for 114 yards (10.4 average) and scored twice that season. As a junior, McLaurin started all 14 contests and hauled in 29 receptions for 436 yards and six touchdowns. He led the team with 20.0 yards per reception as a senior (35-701), scoring 11 times in 14 starts while also making an impact on special teams units (two tackles).
