Strengths
Hardy has a nice combination of height and great bulk at the defensive end spot. Possesses some very impressive athleticism coupled with good natural strength. Has been productive during his career. Blend of size and speed make him an effective pass rusher. Displays some good instincts.
Weaknesses
Durability is a bit of a concern with Hardy. Needs to be more consistent with his effort level and play harder through the whistle. Scouts question his versatility to play outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme. Doesn't always hold up against run defense, partially due to effort level.
