Strengths
Searcy has a muscular build and long arms. Possesses the range to cover the deep middle and is fluid enough to line up over the slot in man coverage. Tracks the ball well in the air and uses his long arms to break up passes. Very capable returner on special teams.
Weaknesses
Does not have the speed to close with the ball in the air. A moment late reading the play and can get caught out of position at times. Lacks the instincts to anticipate routes and is vulnerable to double moves. Not a willing tackler in run support and struggles to wade through traffic. Drops catchable interceptions.
