  • Patrick Mahomes set an NFL record with 10 touchdown passes over the first two games of the season, leading the Chiefs to a 2-0 start despite KC allowing more than 30 PPG and more than 500 total YPG in 2018. To put Mahomes' prolificacy in perspective, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Drew Brees threw 9 TD passes combined over their first 3 career starts. Peyton Manning holds the record (since 1950) for most TD passes in the first three games of a season, throwing 12 over the first three games in 2013 en route to an NFL single-season record of 55. 10

Jackson only caught one deep TD from Jameis Winston all last season, and his five total deep receptions from Fitzpatrick match his total from Winston from all last season. 9
