  • After not recording a single interception during his rookie season (2016), Byard tied Darius Slay for the most interceptions (8) in the NFL in 2017. Byard also had three games with multiple interceptions in 2017, which was the most in the NFL.

Byard finished with 87 tackles and eight interceptions in 2017, becoming the first player since Champ Bailey in 2006 (86 tackles, 10 INT) to post those numbers in a single season. 10

    80. Kevin Byard, S, Tennessee Titans

    Byard finished with 87 tackles and eight interceptions in 2017, becoming the first player since Champ Bailey in 2006 (86 tackles, 10 INT) to post those numbers in a single season.

  • Peters has 21 career interceptions including the postseason, which is the second-highest total in a player's first three years over the last 25 seasons. A nine-time Pro Bowler, Ed Reed, had more interceptions (22) in his first three seasons.

    Peters has 21 career interceptions including the postseason, which is the second-highest total in a player's first three years over the last 25 seasons. A nine-time Pro Bowler, Ed Reed, had more interceptions (22) in his first three seasons.

    Since entering the NFL in 2015, Peters has 19 interceptions and 55 passes defensed (regular season only), which are both the most in the NFL. Peters is the only player in the NFL with five or more interceptions in each of the last three seasons.

    Lewan is just one of five offensive tackles to make the Pro Bowl in each of the last two seasons. He joins Donald Penn, Tyron Smith, Trent Williams and Andrew Whitworth as the only others on that list.
