    10. Astapor Unsullied

Bred and trained in Astapor, the Unsullied are slave eunuchs turned into an elite group of warriors. In Season 3, Daenerys Targaryen travels to Astapor to purchase an army of Unsullied. She agrees to a trade with Kraznys mo Nakloz ... one of her dragons, Drogon, in exchange for 8,000 warriors and Unsullied boys still in training. That didn't turn out well for no Nakloz, as Drogon turned him into a human french fry. If you're the type of fantasy owner who makes one-sided trades and has a reputation as such, you could be one of the fantasy football Unsullied.

    9. Westeros Wildlings

Wildlings are the people who live beyond the Wall. Led by Mance Rayder, they're a combination of village dwellers, giants and savages who spend a lot of time fighting ... not only foes but each other. Sounds like some of the old Cincinnati Bengals teams that had their share of troublemakers (Pacman Jones, anyone?). Fantasy owner who loved drafting Terrell Owens or Chad Johnson a few years back and still like taking chances on troubled players like Josh Gordon or Kenny Britt (all wideouts) could be the fantasy football version of Rayder.

    8. Iron Islands Storm

Ruled from Pyke by House Greyjoy, the Iron Islands are located off the west coast of Westeros. The area is often times hit with significant storm winds and very poor weather, so it's not exactly at the top of the list of Game of Thrones vacation destinations. The most famous of the ironborn is Theon Greyjoy, who stormed his former "home" of Winterfell and named himself Prince until his own men betrayed him. So, bad weather and betrayal? The Storm seems like the perfect fantasy football team name if you're a die-hard fan of the Cleveland Browns.

    7. Casterly Rock Red Cloaks

Casterly Rock holds House Lannister and is located on the Western coast of Westeros. Built atop a gold mine, it's also the birthplace of one of the most popular characters in Game of Thrones, Tyrion Lannister. The defenders of Casterly Rock are known as the "Red Cloaks" because of their crimson-colored armor that also features a golden lion. But when you think of this area, you think of the riches of the Lannisters. And if the family were an NFL franchise, it would be the Dallas Cowboys. Fantasy "frontrunners" would also be a fit for the loved and hated Red Cloaks.

    6. Crossing Massacre

The Twins, also known as the Crossing, is a castle in the Riverlands that consists of two almost identical towers. Of course, this dwelling is best known for what has become one of the most famous scenes in television history ... the Red Wedding. This massacre was set up by Lord Walder Frey as revenge against Robb Stark, who broke a marriage pact between the two Houses when he wed Talisa Maegyr. If you're the confident type who wants to send a message to your league and predict the quick demise of your opponents, you can set up your own fantasy Red Wedding.

  • 5. Castle Black Crows 5

    5. Castle Black Crows

Castle Black is home to the Night's Watch and serves as a fortress along the northern border of the Seven Kingdoms. Members of the Night's Watch are dressed in black, which is the reason for their nickname. The most famous of the Crows is Jon Snow, the bastard son of Eddard Stark and personal steward of Lord Commander Mormont. Snow was also part of the Wildlings under Mance Rayder for a time. The Crows and the Wall at Castle Black are meant to defend, making this team name a nice fit for owners in individual defensive player (IDP) leagues.

    4. King's Landing Wildfire

The capitol of the Seven Kingdoms, King's Landing is on the east coast of Westeros. The area houses the Iron Throne and Lannister family (at least the ones who have survived). One of the most famous events in King's Landing occurs when King Stannis Baratheon attempts to take the capitol but fails, due in part to the Lannister's use of wildfire ... a green-tinted liquid that explodes with massive force and cannot be extinguished with water. So what's the fantasy connection? Honestly, there is none ... but who doesn't want to have a cool team name like the Wildfire?

  • 3. Dothraki Dragons 3

    HBO Entertainment

    3. Dothraki Dragons

The Dothraki were introduced to the Game of Thrones audience in Season 1, when Daenerys Targaryen was sold into marriage to Khal Drogo. A race of horse-mounted warrior, the Dothraki are known to abandon a sick or injured leader who is no longer capable of riding a horse. It is as a member of the Dothraki that Daenerys "births" three dragons and becomes the "Mother of Dragons." So, fantasy owners who want a ferocious, fire-breathing team name ... or who dump their starting quarterback to the waiver wire when he gets hurt ... should lead your own Dothraki Dragons.

  • 2. Winterfell Direwolves 2

    2. Winterfell Direwolves

Direwolves are a large species of wolf known for their size and intelligence. Also the symbol of House Stark, the Stark children adopted six orphaned direwolf cubs. The two most prominent of the wolves are named Summer and Ghost, who have protected Brandon Stark and Jon Snow, respectively, during the course of the series. In fact, Brandon is now able to see through the eyes of Summer when he enters a sleep-like trance. If you're an owner who believes in drafting players with size and power like Jimmy Graham, the Direwolves are the team for you.

    1. Northern White Walkers

A mythological race, some compare the White Walkers to ghosts and deny their existence. They have pale greyish skin and look almost mummified, but it's their glowing blue eyes that are most notable. Their magical powers seem to emanate from the cold, as anything they touch turns to ice ... making them the most feared "creatures" in the North and an almost insurmountable foe. Maybe the "coolest" name to use when it comes to Game of Thrones and fantasy football, you better draft a juggernaut and unbeatable roster to call yourself a White Walker.
