What has happened to the dominant Chiefs defense? Heading into the Week 11 meeting between these two teams, the Chiefs had league's best scoring defense (12.3 PPG). Since then, the Chiefs are tied for the league's worst scoring defense, allowing opponents to register 34.0 PPG - a difference of 21.7 PPG. And the bad news doesn't stop there. The Chiefs defense is surrendering 462.7 yards per game in the month of November, the worst mark in the NFL.
4th quarter comebacks
The Carolina Panthers have rallied for a fourth-quarter comeback win in three straight games. The most consecutive fourth-quarter comebacks, since 1940, is five by the 2009 Colts (Weeks 8-12). Cam Newton has orchestrated a game-winning drive in three straight weeks. Entering this stretch, Newton had two career game-winning drives in his first 40 games.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles leads the NFL with a 128.0 passer rating, which puts him on pace to break Aaron Rodgers' all-time single-season record of 122.5, set in 2011. In the last four games, opposing QBs facing the Arizona Cardinals have a passer rating of 64.2 (two-tenths of a point from exactly half of Foles' rating).
Top-ranked total defense
The Houston Texans have the NFL's top-ranked total defense (290.4 YPG) despite their 2-9 record. No top ranked total defense has ever finished with fewer than five wins in a season.
Geno Smith is just the 6th QB since 2000 to record 10-or-fewer completions in three straight starts (eight completions vs NO, eight completions at BUF, nine completions at BAL). The last player to do so was Tim Tebow, who completed less than 10 passes in Weeks 10-12, 2011 with the Broncos in the middle of his 7-4 run.
Tavon Austin is the 4th player since 1960 with a rushing, receiving and punt return touchdown of 60+ yards in the same season (DeSean Jackson, Billy "White Shoes" Johnson and Gale Sayers are the others). Austin is the 3rd player since 1940 with four 50+ yard TDs in consecutive games (Gale Sayers and Jim Brown are the others).
Top receiving duo
Chicago Bears wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery are the top receiving duo in the league this season with 1,805 yards. Denver Broncos' Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker are second with 1,752 yards.
