Royal voted Week 10 Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week

Voters on NFL.com and via Sprint wireless service have made their choice. Wide receiver Eddie Royal of the Denver Broncos is the Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for games played from Nov. 6-10.

Royal was selected from among five finalists through fan votes on NFL.com/rookies and via Sprint wireless service. The other finalists were running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis of the New England Patriots, quarterback Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens, tackle Jake Long of the Miami Dolphins and quarterback Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January. The winner will be announced at a press conference at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis, RB, New England Patriots
Green-Ellis rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries in the Patriots' 20-10 win over the AFC East rival Buffalo Bills..
Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore Ravens
Flacco completed 15 of 23 passes for 185 yards and two touchdowns in the Ravens' 41-13 win over the Houston Texans.
Jake Long, T, Miami Dolphins
Long was part of an offensive line that led a running game that amassed 155 yards and two touchdowns on 27 attempts (5.7-yard average) and allowed only two sacks in the Dolphins' 21-19 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
Eddie Royal, WR, Denver Broncos
Royal totaled 164 receiving yards on six receptions, including a 93-yard touchdown catch in the Broncos’ 34–30 win over the Cleveland Browns on NFL Network’s Thursday Night Football.
Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons
Ryan completed 16 of 23 passes for 248 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons' 34-20 win over the New Orleans Saints.
