Paul Burmeister is a studio host and reporter with NFL Network.

Burmeister can be seen delivering the latest highlights and analysis from Sunday's afternoon games on NFL GameDay Scoreboard with Jamie Dukes and Tom Waddle and LaDainian Tomlinson. Burmeister is also regular host on Around the League, weekdays during the NFL season.

Following the NFL regular season, Burmeister anchors NFL Network's exclusive coverage of the Under Armour Senior Bowl and contributes to NFL Network’s coverage of the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

In addition, Burmeister joins Mike Mayock and Charles Davis on Path to the Draft, providing in-depth analysis on prospective draft choices and a look at each NFL team's needs leading up to the NFL Draft.

In 2010, Burmeister served as a lead play-by-play voice in the Network's debut season broadcasting Arena Football League games, calling 11 matchups including Arena Bowl XXIII alongside Kurt Warner. Burmeister returned to the broadcasting booth alongside Warner in 2011 for Arena Bowl XXIV.

Burmeister's broadcast booth experience also includes serving as the play-by-play voice for NFL Network's Insight Bowl telecasts alongside Mayock in 2008 and 2009, as well as voicing Jacksonville Jaguars preseason broadcasts for the past four years. Previously, Burmeister also handled play-by-play duties for NFL Europa games on NFL Network.

Before joining NFL Network, Burmeister worked from 2001 – 2004 as a sports anchor and reporter at KWWL, the NBC affiliate in Eastern Iowa. Prior to that, he spent three years at KCRG in Cedar Rapids.

As a senior quarterback at the University of Iowa, Burmeister was the offensive captain and MVP of the Hawkeyes' 1993 team that played in the inaugural Alamo Bowl. He spent time with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent in 1995. Burmeister was also invited to participate in the NFL Scouting Combine after his senior season, and in 1995 spent five months with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent.

Burmeister received his B.A. in Communications studies from the University of Iowa in 1994, then went on to receive his M.A. in Higher Education from University of Iowa in 1997.
