Kara Henderson begins her ninth season with NFL Network in a new role as co-host of NFL Total Access alongside Andrew Siciliano weekdays during the NFL season.

Henderson and Siciliano team up to provide the latest news and headlines from around the league, with interviews from the NFL’s top talent from their team facilities, as well as teeing up NFL Network analysts on the hottest topics heading into Sunday’s upcoming matchups.

As one of NFL Network’s most veteran broadcasters, Henderson has served a variety of roles in her nine years with the network, conducting in-depth interviews with players and coaches around the league and pregame and postgame reports for a variety of shows across the network including NFL Total Access, Around the League, NFL GameDay Morning and NFL GameDay Final.

In 2010, Henderson provided on-site reports for both NFL Network and NFL.com’s coverage of Thursday Night Football during the network’s pregame and postgame shows, as well as in-game reports on NFL.com/LIVE streaming coverage.

Previously, Henderson served as a primetime sports anchor for CNN Headline News in Atlanta where she covered all major sports and reported from events ranging from the NFL and MLB Playoffs to the Kentucky Derby.

Before joining CNN Headline News, Henderson was as a sports anchor with CNN/SI where she co-anchored the network’s signature nightly sports news program, Sports Tonight. There, she also reported for and hosted the network’s sports magazine program, Sporting Life.

Henderson started her on-air career at New England Sports Network (NESN). While at NESN she was nominated for a 1999 New England Emmy Award for the Front Row program she hosted while running the Boston Marathon.

Henderson graduated cum laude from Duke University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. She began her television career as a production assistant at ESPN and within the special events unit at ABC News. Henderson also served as an assistant to the Executive Producer of Good Morning America and was an intern within the London bureau of NBC News.
