Derrin Horton joined NFL Network at the start of the 2004 NFL season as an anchor, reporter and host. Horton can be seen hosting various NFL Network studio shows and NFL Network Now news reports, as well as heard as the narrator of the popular NFL's Top 10 series.

In addition to his duties at NFL Network, Horton is currently a sports anchor for KTLA-TV in Los Angeles.

Horton came to NFL Network from KCAL, a broadcast affiliate in Los Angeles, where he had served as a sports anchor and reporter since 1999. His six years of play-by-play experience includes work for Fox Sports Net, NFL Network’s coverage of NFL Europa, as well as ESPN's coverage of college football and basketball.

Horton began his television career in Cincinnati in 1993 as a morning show sports anchor before moving to Chicago to become the host of "The New Mike Ditka Show" featuring former Bears head coach Mike Ditka. In 1995, Horton moved to St. Louis to become the sports anchor at KDNL-TV.

Horton graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism in 1991.
