Charles Davis serves as an analyst for NFL Network's extensive NFL Scouting Combine and NFL Draft coverage.

Davis' college football expertise is featured within NFL Network's exclusive coverage of the Under Armour Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine, as well as within NFL Network's live coverage of the NFL Draft. Following the NFL Scouting Combine, Davis is an analyst on Path to the Draft, which provides in-depth analysis on prospective draft choices and a look at each NFL team's needs during the off-season with analyst Mike Mayock.

In 2011, Davis, as lead analyst for FOX college football, and noted play-by-play voice Gus Johnson teamed up in the broadcast booth for FX's college football telecast debut of live Big 12, Pac-12 and Conference USA matchups Saturdays in primetime. From 2012 to 2014, the two worked together on FOX and FS1.

Davis' broadcast booth experience also extends to NFL games where in the 2015 season he served as a game analyst for the Atlanta Falcons preseason broadcasts and was a game analyst alongside NFL Network cohort Jim Mora, Dick Stockton and Laura Okmin for The NFL on FOX in 2010. In 2009, Davis appeared alongside Dick Stockton and in 2015, he was commentator with Thom Brennaman and Tony Siragusa. He has also served as a game analyst for NFL Network's broadcasts of the Texas Bowl from 2007-2008, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers preseason broadcasts and 2015 Tennessee Titans preseason broadcasts.

From 2007-2009, Davis served as the lead analyst for the Big Ten Network and FOX Sports BCS broadcast teams. Davis provided analysis on the BCS National Championship games from 2007-2009 and some of the most exciting matchups in recent college football history. Such games include: Florida's 2009 title win over Oklahoma, Boise State's overtime win against Oklahoma at the 2007 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and Appalachian State's stunning upset over Michigan in the Wolverines' 2007 home opener. Before Davis joined FOX Sports in December of 2006, he served as the lead college football analyst at TBS for five years.

Throughout his career, Davis has served as an analyst for the NFL, college football, Arena League Football, basketball, baseball and golf for ESPN, CBS, NBC, FOX, The Golf Channel, TBS, TNT, and the Sun Sports Network.

Davis, a four-year starting defensive back for Tennessee (1983-86), led the Volunteers to four straight bowl appearances and was a member of the Academic All-SEC Team. After graduation, Davis was an assistant coach at the University of Pacific before moving into athletic administration where he worked as an assistant athletic director at Stanford University.

Davis' broadcasting and college athletic accolades have led to a variety of honors in recent years. In 2009, he earned the 'Accomplished Alumni Award' from the University of Tennessee Alumni Association and was honored with distinction by the Florida High School Athletic Association. In 2016, Davis was awarded the first ever Pop Warner Media Award. In addition, he and NFL Network co-host Steve Wyche won the Founders Award by Black College Football Hall of Fame given to an individual who has helped ensure the ascension and success of Black College Football and the Black College Football Hall of Fame.

In 2008, Davis was a featured 'Story of Character' by Tennessee and the Southeastern Conference during the SEC's 75th anniversary celebration and was honored as one of the top 50 athletes in the last 50 years in the tri-county area by the Middletown Record in New York. He also served as the featured speaker for the Sun Bowl Committee Award Meetings in 2007.

A native of New Paltz, New York, Davis currently resides in Orlando, Fla. with his wife, Lisa, his daughter, Taylor and son, Parker.
