Chiefs sign ex-Cardinals WR Urban, reunite him with Haley

The Kansas City Chiefs announced Thursday that they had signed free-agent wide receiver Jerheme Urban, who spent the last three seasons with the Arizona Cardinals.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but it reunites Urban with Chiefs coach Todd Haley, who was the Cardinals' offensive coordinator in 2007 and 2008.

Urban has 87 catches for 1,231 yards in a career that started in 2003 with the Seattle Seahawks. He has played in six playoff games, including Super Bowl XLIII with the Cardinals. His biggest year was 2008, when he had 34 catches for 448 yards and four touchdowns.

Urban has played in 47 games with six starts. He was in Seattle from 2003 to 2005, spent part of the 2006 season on the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad (when Haley was an assistant there), then played for Arizona from 2007 to 2009.
