ATLANTA -- Quarterback Jeff Garcia was inactive with an injured calf for Tampa Bay's game against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Brian Griese, who helped the Buccaneers beat Atlanta in Week 2 but hadn't played in eight weeks, replaced Garcia as the starter.
Garcia was injured in Tampa Bay's loss Monday at Carolina. The defeat dropped the Bucs (9-4) into second place in the NFC South, one game ahead of the Falcons (8-5).
