Eagles' Sheppard injured against Packers

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard left Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers with a sprained right knee.

The team said he would not return.

It wasn't clear which play Sheppard was hurt on in the second quarter, but the Eagles announced at halftime he was being evaluated in the locker room. He had two tackles to that point, the last coming when he stopped Brandon Jackson on a 6-yard run with 4:57 to play in the half.

The two-time Pro Bowl selection has a team-high 14 interceptions over the last three seasons.
