DeAndre Hopkins sometimes isn't mentioned in the same breath as wide receivers Antonio Brown, Julio Jones and Odell Beckham. The Madden video game franchise agrees the Houston Texans wideout is in another class.

The 99 Club, that is.

The NFL and EA Sports revealed Friday that Hopkins is the fourth and final member of Madden 20's distinguished group, joining Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald, Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner and Bears edge rusher Khalil Mack.

While giving Hopkins a perfect rating is sure to raise some eyebrows, there's no questioning his standing among the game's elite. He earned his second consecutive first-team All-Pro nod in 2018 after setting career highs in receptions (115) and receiving yards (1,572), to go along with 11 touchdowns.

An avid Madden player, Hopkins had a 94 rating a year ago, behind OBJ (95), Jones (98) and Brown (99). He proceeded to outproduce all three in reality, as only Jones had more yards (1,677) and only Brown had more touchdowns (15) last season. Moreover, Hopkins was the only one of the four to help lead his team to the playoffs.
