Jets agree to terms with veteran RB Bilal Powell

Not long ago, Bilal Powell's career seemed to be in jeopardy with a neck injury.

However, Powell has been cleared and now he's back with New York Jets, who announced they had signed him on Friday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Powell, who was placed on injured reserve by the Jets in October of 2018, has played the duration of his NFL career with Gang Green, beginning in 2011.

With a career-high of 772 yards rushing in 2017, Powell has rushed for 3,446 yards in eight seasons and also proved to be versatile with two seasons of more than 40 catches.

Now, he'll likely serve as a backup and change of pace from Le'Veon Bell.
