Patriots sign twins to undrafted free-agent deals

PHILADELPHIA -- Cody and Jacob Hollister will join hundreds of undrafted free agents in trying to make an NFL roster without the leverage of a big rookie contract, but at least they'll get to do it together.

The New England Patriots signed the twin brothers Saturday after the 2017 NFL Draft, making for an interesting storyline for the club's rookie minicamp in May. Cody Hollister confirmed his NFL destination via Twitter, as did his brother.

Wideout Cody Hollister (6-foot-4, 209 pounds) played in 12 games at Arkansas last year, starting four. He caught 10 passes for 140 yards and broke two rushing attempts for 48 yards. Tight end Jacob Hollister (6-4, 239) caught 32 passes for 515 yards and seven touchdowns at Wyoming, from one of college football's top quarterbacks in Josh Allen.

The twins were profiled extensively last week by Fox Sports.
