The attorney for Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield entered a not guilty plea on his client's behalf Friday to four misdemeanor charges stemming from his February arrest.

The Fayetteville (Arkansas) District Court clerk's office told NFL.com that Mayfield's attorney entered a plea of not guilty to charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, fleeing and resisting arrest.

Mayfield, a Heisman Trophy finalist, threw for over 3,700 passing yards and 36 touchdowns last season. A court date has not been set for the quarterback.
