The Cleveland Browns have made a move.

The team on Thursday re-signed long snapper Charley Hughlett, per his agent:

"I am super excited," Hughlett said, per the team's official website. "I couldn't be happier to be here. My wife and I are happy to call Cleveland our home. I can't wait to start getting things turned around."

The 6-foot-4, 248-pound Hughlett has two pro seasons under his belt as an undrafted free agent out of Central Florida.

He's capably handled Cleveland's long-snapping duties for the past 32 games and will do so for the next 96 if everything falls into place.

With this bit of business taken care of, the team can now focus on their next burning to-do: finding a functional quarterback with the ability to play 16 straight games in a season for the first time since Tim Couch pulled that off way back in 2001.
