Savage Mardi Gras float revels in Falcons' misery

When it comes to Mardi Gras, apparently there is no such thing as "too soon."

We know this because of one savage float that has been prepped for the Bacchus parade, one of the more well-known celebrations in the lead-up to Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

That's probably Julio Jones. And that's definitely Matt Ryan. That's the deep burn, folks.

The Bacchus parade -- which will march through Uptown on Feb. 26 -- has a different theme every year. In 2017, Bacchus celebrates the Saints and their 50 years in the Crescent City. The Falcons and Saints are bitter rivals, of course, and Atlanta blowing a 25-point lead in the Super Bowl last Sunday is obvious cause for celebration in The Big Easy.

According to Nola.com, the front of the float displays a falcon resting atop a pot that reads, "Dirty Bird Gumbo."

Let's check out a tweet on the same subject from an Atlanta-area radio yakker.

Swamp people! Overrated party! This is tremendous heat.
