Brent Musburger was Super Bowl's Forrest Gump

I love this.

ESPN announced Wednesday that iconic play-by-play man Brent Musburger will end his broadcasting career this month after nearly 50 years behind the mic. For millions of sports fans of a certain age, Musburger was the soundtrack of The Big Game in every major sport, including the NFL.

As a Jets fan, I have seen this photo a minimum of 5,000 times in my life. Never once did I notice a young Brent Musburger chilling poolside with Broadway Joe. Musburger is football Forrest Gump.
