Houston Texans quarterback Tom Savage suffered a concussion during the first half of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans and was replaced by Brock Osweiler at quarterback.

Initially, the Texans announced that Savage cleared concussion protocol and he even returned to the game on the last play of the first half to take a knee. However, he was reevaluated at halftime and the team ruled him out with a concussion.

Osweiler took over at quarterback immediately after Savage's injury in the first half. He was benched in favor of Savage two weeks ago due to the expensive free-agent acquisition's constant struggles.

Following the loss, Texans head coach Bill O'Brien was mum on who will be under center next week in the AFC wild-card playoff game.

"I think it's going to be an evaluation," O'Brien said per the Houston Chronicle. "We will talk about it as a staff."
