Antonio Brown would come after Burfict in dodgeball

We learned earlier this week that dodgeball will be a part of the Pro Bowl festivities in Orlando next month, grand news that very nearly -- but not quite -- saved 2016.

During a spot with Mike Florio on NBC Sports Radio, Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was asked who he would target in dodgeball if given the following choices: Bengals cornerback Adam Jones, Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict or Redskins cornerback Josh Norman.

"Vontaze, 100 percent," Brown replied.

Florio asked where Brown would aim.

"Definitely in the head," he said with a chuckle.

Burfict and Brown have head trauma history, of course. The Steelers star was concussed on an illegal hit by the Bengals linebacker during January's contentious Wild Card matchup between the two rivals. Jones would later claim he was certain Brown had faked his brain injury to curry favor with game officials and added that Brown deserved a "Grammy" for his acting performance. Burfict was suspended the first three games of the 2016 season for repeated violations of safety-related playing rules.

It goes without saying that dodgeball should be the centerpiece of Pro Bowl festivities. This is like when Jimi Hendrix was opening for The Monkees.
