Turf troubles in Buffalo briefly delays Steelers-Bills

The technology of modern day artificial turf has always inspired a touch of mistrust on this end. Like, for instance, why so flammable? And if you're green, why the black rubber pellets in moments of distress?

Just what are you anyway?

Which takes us to Orchard Park, where the start of the second half of Sunday's Steelers-Bills game was delayed when a buildup of rubber pellets left the field unplayable. The pellets accumulated as the New Era Stadium grounds crew attempted to clear snow from the field at halftime.

Everyone does their best to clean up, from the coaching staffs to Hall of Famer Jim Kelly. The game eventually did resume, at which point it started to snow again. Mother Nature's got bits.
