Grading the Big 5: Week 11 grade for Clemson's Deshaun Watson

Editor's note: analysts and former NFL scouts Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah will grade the performances of 5 top prospects each week of the 2016 season. Click the tabs above to see their Week 11 marks for each of the players.

Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson

Stats: 52-of-70 for 580 yards, 3 TDs, 3 INTs. 5 carries for 8 yards (1.6 average). (vs. Pittsburgh)

Skinny: Watson had a very up and down performance in the Tigers' loss to Pitt. He made some beautiful touch throws down the field but he also tossed three interceptions. His decision making in the red zone was very troubling. Clemson had an 8-point lead with six minutes left when Watson threw a pick directly to a defender in the end zone. You can't make that decision/throw in that situation. He did rack up gaudy passing yardage (580 yards), but his inconsistency was troubling. He wasn't really a factor in the running game. Overall, this was a weird game to grade. A lot of good, but you can't forgive the turnovers.
