Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville

College Football 24/7 Hot Topics:

Stats: 14-of-26 for 145 yards, TD. 22 carries for 153 yards (7.0 average). (vs. Wake Forest)

Skinny: Jackson and the Louisville offense struggled for the first three quarters before turning it on in the fourth quarter. He was inconsistent as a passer, but he was clearly the best athlete on the field. He carved up the Wake Forest defense with his legs. He slithers through tackles and shows big-time burst to pull away. He missed some throws down the field but he also flashed the rare arm talent to fit balls into tight windows. He didn't throw any picks but he did fumble twice. Overall, this wasn't the best game for Jackson, but he did take it over when it mattered most.
