Ask 5: Sept. 1 | Sept. 8 | Sept. 15 | Sept. 22 | Sept. 29 | Oct. 6 | Oct. 13

This week's matchup between Texas A&M and Alabama is loaded with future NFL players. Scouts that have been through Alabama are blown away by its talent across the board. One personnel executive told me he believes every member of the 'Bama front seven will eventually be picked in the first two rounds of the NFL draft. Texas A&M is loaded with talent as well. They have big-time speed and athleticism at the wide receiver position and the defense features studs from front to back. So, who's the top player among all of these great prospects? I polled five NFL personnel executives. Here are their answers.

Executive 1: Texas A&M DE Myles Garrett
"Easy. Garrett. He has ideal length, explosion and speed. He's a constant mismatch."

Executive 2: Garrett
"Myles Garrett will always be the best player on the field. Doesn't matter who they play."

Executive 3: Garrett
"People use terms like 'can't-miss' or 'freak'. He's both of those things. He's a face of the franchise, cornerstone-type guy. There aren't many guys like this walking around on the planet."

Executive 4: Garrett
"(Alabama's Reuben) Foster and (Jonathan) Allen are both great players, but (Garrett) is a freak."

Executive 5: Garrett
"Garrett is special. He gets double- and triple-teamed every down and he still makes wow plays."

Summary: That's a sweep for Garrett.

Conclusion: Alabama's defense might be one of the best in college football history. They have future NFL stars at all three levels and they've dominated the opposition this fall. However, the most talented player in Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday will be wearing an A&M jersey. Myles Garrett is a scout's dream player. He checks every box when you evaluate him. He's a complete player with rare physical tools. As a bonus, it sounds like he's just as impressive off the field. Everyone who does their homework on him off the field comes away singing his praises. I can't wait to watch him battle Cam Robinson (Alabama's talented junior left tackle) on Saturday. I'm expecting a huge game for Garrett.
