Derek Barnett, DE, Tennessee

WEEK 7 GRADE: A

Stats: 3 tackles (2 for loss; one sack), 1 forced fumble, 1 interception. (vs. Alabama)
Skinny: The Vols were blown out by Alabama, but it wasn't Barnett's fault. He was a disruptive force. He got after OT Cam Robinson in the passing game and he held up fine in the run game. He doesn't have elite burst but he is excellent with his hands and he knows how to finish once he arrives at the quarterback. He's not nearly as physically gifted as Texas A&M's Myles Garrett, but they both force opposing teams to adjust their offensive gameplan. -- Daniel Jeremiah
