Injuries: Bennett (knee) exits early; Dez back post-bye

Seattle's win over Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Co. grew more difficult as the game wore on.

Michael Bennett did not return to the game in Seattle after suffering a knee injury. The Seahawks' defensive end went down midway through the third against Atlanta. However, coach Pete Carroll assured after the game that Bennett just has a "sore knee" and would be OK.

Already without safety Kam Chancellor (groin), losing Bennett weakened a unit that, at the time, was attempting to keep the Falcons from completing a comeback on the road. The Seahawks snuck out a 26-24 win after Atlanta erased a 14-point deficit in the second half.

Other injuries we're tracking on this Sunday of Week 6:

  1. Cornerback Damarious Randall missed the remainder of the game against Dallas with a groin injury, and wide receiver Davante Adams was evaluated for a concussion.
  1. The Cowboys had to wait beyond this Sunday to see Dez Bryant back on the field, but his prospects look good for the near future. The Dallas wideout was inactive for Sunday's game against Green Bay, but Bryant told NFL Network's Jane Slater that he's "good...playing against Philly", the Cowboys' Week 8 opponent after the bye.

Dallas cornerback Morris Claiborne went down with a concussion in the first half against the Packers.

  1. Terrell Suggs is believed to have suffered a bicep tear in the Ravens' loss to the Giants, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per source informed of the situation. Rapoport adds the severity of the injury is not clear, and a source who has talked to Suggs says he wants to play through it. Suggs will have more tests Monday.
  1. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered a left knee injury in the first half against Miami, and re-entered the game in the third quarter after he was declared questionable to return. Roethlisberger tore his meniscus and will have surgery on Monday, Rapoport reported.
  1. Colts tight end Dwayne Allen did not return to Sunday night's game after suffering an ankle injury in the first quarter. Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett did not return with a hamstring injury.
  1. Buffalo running back LeSean McCoy was helped off the field in the first half but returned to the game against San Francisco.
  1. Browns safety Jordan Poyer suffered a lacerated kidney and a concussion in Cleveland's loss, the team announced. He was taken to a Nashville-area hospital for further examination in the first half against the Titans.
  1. Bengals safety George Iloka suffered a shoulder injury in the first half against New England.
  1. Bears receiver Eddie Royal (toe) left in the second half and did not return against the Jaguars.
  1. Dolphins tight end Dion Sims was evaluated for a concussion.
  1. Niners cornerback Rashard Robinson (concussion) was ruled out for their loss to the Bills. San Francisco did avoid injury when Carlos Hyde (shoulder) was declared questionable to return but rejoined action in the third.
  1. Eagles corner Nolan Carroll (stinger) returned to the game after a brief exit.
  1. Texans cornerback Jonathan Joseph injured his forearm in the win. NFL Network's James Palmer reported the DB will have an MRI on the arm Monday.
