NFL changes start times for pair of Week 8 games

The NFL announced is changing the start times for a couple of Week 8 contests on Sunday, Oct. 30.

The Green Bay Packers at Atlanta Falcons game will kick off at 4:25 p.m. ET (previously scheduled at 1 p.m.) on FOX and the Arizona Cardinals at Carolina Panthers game moves to 1:00 p.m. ET (originally scheduled for 4:25 p.m.) on FOX.

The Panthers' 1-4 start coupled with the Cardinals 2-3 mark likely instigated the league's decision to move the rematch of last year's NFC title game to an early slot. In addition, NFC bragging rights could be at stake in the Packers-Falcons contest.

All other Week 8 contests will start at their originally scheduled times.
