Demaryius Thomas (hip) listed as questionable

The Denver Broncos hope to have Demaryius Thomas in the lineup on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, but he's far from a sure thing.

NFL Media's James Palmer reported Friday that the Pro Bowl receiver is questionable for Week 2 with the hip injury he suffered in the team's season-opening win over the Panthers. On defense, lineman Derek Wolfe is also questionable with a neck injury.

Thomas has participated in practice this week, but was seen "grabbing his hip" and "grimacing" during Wednesday's practice, per The Denver Post.

The newspaper reported that Thomas was running "better" on Friday, but the wideout acknowledged Thursday that he was concerned about coming out of his cuts and getting hit.

"It's something that I've been dealing with for a while," Thomas said of his hip on Thursday, per The Post. "Just a little different. It flared up a little more this time."

We expect Thomas to play, but he's no sure bet to see a full portion of snaps. Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian needs all his weapons in tow, but his No. 1 receiver remains a burning question mark heading into Week 2.
