Tyrann Mathieu pays off LSU-Wisconsin bet with J.J. Watt

The NFL season will get started later this week, but the Cardinals' Tyrann Mathieu has already taken his first loss of the 2016 campaign.

Mathieu, an LSU alum, and Texans star J.J. Watt, a Wisconsin alum, wagered 100 pushups on the outcome of Saturday's Tigers-Badgers game at Lambeau Field. Wisconsin topped LSU, 16-14.

Credit to the Honey Badger -- he made good on the bet after his squad was narrowly defeated.

Watt appreciated Mathieu's follow through.

Mathieu's teammate and fellow LSU alum Patrick Peterson also made a bet with Watt on the game. If Peterson makes good on his deal, we'll be seeing him wearing the Badgers' colors soon.
