Snapchat helps Tony McDaniel sign with Seahawks

Maybe millennials aren't the only ones using Snapchat after all.

Defensive lineman Tony McDaniel was jobless with less than a month to go until the regular season kicked off. Last week, the 31-year-old veteran was at an Atlanta airport on his way to Seattle and snapchatted a photo of a long TSA pre-check line. (Wait, long TSA pre-check lines exist???)

David Canter, his agent, saw the snap and cleverly alerted the Seahawks of his upcoming arrival in Seattle. McDaniel had previously played with the team in 2013 and 2014, and the Seahawks were interested enough to allow him to work out for them on Monday.

DEC Management, Canter's agency, later broke the news on a different social media platform that McDaniel had reunited with his former team. The Seahawks confirmed McDaniel's signing on Tuesday.
