Ten-year veteran interior lineman Manny Ramirez has retired from the NFL just a few months after signing with the Chicago Bears.

A starter for 65 games in his career, Ramirez most notably started every game for the Denver Broncos for their record-setting 2013 offense. He started at center in Super Bowl XLVIII for the Broncos and later took responsibility for the botched snap that started the game with a safety.

Ramirez was signed by the Bears in March to provide offensive line depth for his old coach John Fox after spending a second tour with the Detroit Lions in 2015, when he started seven games.
