Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell visiting Jets, Bears, Giants

Laquon Treadwell will fit a visit to his hometown team between trips to meet with the NFL's New York franchises during a busy start to his week.

The former Ole Miss wide receiver will visit the Giants on Monday, Bears on Tuesday and Jets on Wednesday, per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.

Each of those teams hold picks inside the top 20 of Round 1, with the Giants slated to pick 10th, the Bears 11th and the Jets 20th.

Treadwell, who grew up in the Chicago area, shared his thoughts on the possibility of playing for the Bears with CFB 24/7's Path to the Draft blog last week.

NFL Media draft expert Mike Mayock ranks Treadwell as the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Treadwell lacks ideal speed for his position (he clocked a 4.63-second pro-day 40-yard dash). He's highly regarded because of his combination of size (6-foot-2, 221 pounds), competitiveness and catching ability.

While he's arguably one of the top prospect at his position, it's possible he'll be available in the late stages of Round 1. The earliest he goes in the most recent mock drafts of NFL Media analysts is 21st overall to the Redskins.
