Jared Goff, Joey Bosa, Laquon Treadwell visiting Browns

The Cleveland Browns were busy hosting top 2016 NFL Draft prospects on Thursday.

Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa, California quarterback Jared Goff and Ole Miss wide receiver Laquon Treadwell were all in Cleveland to visit with the team, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports. Notre Dame wide receiver Will Fuller, fresh off his pro day, tweeted that he'll visit the Browns on Thursday, as well.

Bosa is meeting with the Brownsa day after working out for the Titans, the only team slated to pick before Cleveland in the first round.

NFL Media draft expert Mike Mayock rates Bosa and Treadwell as the No. 1 prospects at their respective positions, while Goff is the No. 2-rated quarterback behind North Dakota State's Carson Wentz.

Bosa is rated the No. 4 overall player in the draft by NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah and no NFL Media mock draft has him coming off the board earlier than No. 3 overall to the Chargers. Treadwell is expected to be picked closer to the middle of Round 1. Mayock rates the speedy Fuller as the draft's No. 4 wide receiver and could still be available when the Browns make their second-round pick at No. 32.

Given the team's need at the position, the expectation is the Browns will take one of the top quarterbacks available (Wentz or Goff) at No. 2. Mayock said last week that the team's signing of Robert Griffin IIIshould change nothing regarding the team's draft strategy.

"If you believe there's a franchise quarterback at No. 2 when you're on the clock, you'd better draft him," Mayock said.

The Browns were present for the pro days of Goff and Wentz earlier this month, and they had Memphis' Paxton Lynch, considered the No. 3 QB in this draft, in for a visit earlier this week.

On Thursday, the team is continuing to do its due diligence to prepare for whatever April 28 (Round 1 of the draft) might bring.
