Anquan Boldin is finally seeing some action.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Boldin visited with the Washington Redskins on Tuesday, per a source informed of his plans. It's the veteran receiver's first free-agent visit.

Boldin was never fleet of foot, and at 35 years old, he won't break away from coverage. However, he remains productive, thanks to a big body, strong hands and willingness to fight through defenders.
Despite playing with subpar quarterbacks last season in San Francisco, Boldin put up 789 yards on 69 receptions with four touchdowns in 14 games. The previous two seasons in the Bay Area he surpassed the 1,000-yard mark. Boldin is easily the top veteran receiver left on the market.
The Redskins are looking to fill out the roster with a veteran receiver behind DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, promising second-year wideout Jamison Crowder and pass-catching tight end Jordan Reed. With speed already in-house, the Redskins could look to add a possession receiver like Boldin, who would bring needed leadership to the receiver room.
The visit could also be a move to entice Garcon to agree to an extension that would lower his scheduled $10.2 million salary-cap hit. There is a slight chance the Redskins might consider cutting Garcon loose after two seasons under Jay Gruden in which the wideout failed to broach the 800-yard mark.
Washington will also host free-agent defensive tackle Terrance Knighton on Wednesday, a source told Rapoport. Knighton started in 15 games for the Redskins last season.
