Former Oregon cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu didn't play a down during his rookie season, but the 2015 seventh-rounder says he's on his way back from the ACL tear he suffered two Decembers ago.
"A lot of people have asked about my recovery. I'm not quite 100 (percent) yet but I'm close and in the next couple of weeks I'll show you some of the progress I've made," Ekpre-Olomu wrote on Instagram, per The Plain Dealer.
"Although this past year has had many ups and downs, I'm finally close to the point I want to be. Now it's time to get better as a player and person."
Viewed by many before his injury as a first- or second-round prospect, Ekpre-Olomu told the newspaper two months ago that he expects to suit up for the Cleveland's first round of OTAs in April.
With veteran cover man Tramon Williams set to turn 33 and the flighty Gilbert a candidate for the chopping block, Ekpre-Olomu has a legitimate shot to make an impact -- and even start -- in 2016.
