Ohio State's Adolphus Washington pleads guilty to solicitation

Ohio State defensive tackle Adolphus Washington pleaded guilty on Tuesday to solicitation.

Washington's attorney, Phil Templeton, said the misdemeanor charge will be dismissed if Washington completes an educational program before a Feb. 16 sentencing date, per The Columbus Dispatch.

"It's the standard plea offer for anyone in his situation," Templeton said, according to The Dispatch. "He isn't getting any special treatment."

OSU suspended the senior from the Fiesta Bowl last month after he was cited for solicitation, bringing his Buckeyes career to an end.

NFL Media analyst Lance Zierlein rates Washington as the No. 77 prospect in the 2016 NFL Draft. He has accepted an invitation to play in next week's Reese's Senior Bowl.

NFL teams evaluate prospects on the field and off of it during Senior Bowl week. They keep a close eye on players during practices and meet for interviews with them over the course of the week. Undoubtedly, the incident will come up when Washington sits down with teams at the site of the game in Mobile, Ala.

Washington finished fifth on the team in sacks with four among seven tackles for loss in 2015.
